Supply Chain Management Seminar to be held October 25, 2004 at LSUS -- REGISTRATION RATE REDUCED - $35 per person Keynote speaker for the seminar will be David Kane, Cluster Director for Logistics for Louisiana Economic Development.
The seminar will include interactive sessions, presentations, and case studies designed to provide tools for the understanding of supply chain management concepts and applications. Seminar topics will emphasize:
- building partnerships with customers and suppliers
- matching supply chain strategies to needs
- enabling role of the Internet
- solving supply chain inventory problems (i.e., Bullwhip effect, excess inventory, stock outs, etc.)
