Entrepreneurship Conference to be hosted at Bossier Parish Community College

The BPCC Economic Development Division's Professional Development Series is presenting the 2005 Entrepreneurship Conference on Tuesday, March 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in D215 on BPCC's new campus, at 6220 East Texas Street in Bossier City.

BPCC is presenting this conference in cooperation with the Governor's Office of the Workforce Commission, the Louisiana Department of Labor, the North Louisiana Partnership for Innovation (NLPI), and the Consortium for Education, Research & Technology of North Louisiana (CERT).

Keynote speaker is Barry Moltz, entrepreneur and author of the popular book, You Need to Be a Little Crazy.   He will discuss the truth about starting and growing your business. 

Conference participants include veteran entrepreneurs Mark Porter and Ricky Hall, who will share the ups and downs of their businesses and encourage new business owners to persevere.

Business development representatives from the Louisiana Small Business Development Centers and the Coordinating and Development Corporation, as well as Hibernia Bank and Venture Capital Enterprise (VCE) will provide detailed advice about finding the money to start and grow businesses.

The conference fee is $45, which includes lunch and The Entrepreneur's Resource Guide desk reference.
