NLPI Principal Investigator Dr. Anthony Scheffler, NSU, and Project Director, CERT Executive Director Patti Trudell name two to staff NLPI Project Coordinator, Sheryl Ostendorff
NLPI Administrative Assistant, Susanne Wastlund
These staff members, along with the Project Director, will be housed at the Center for Biomedical Technology Innovation (CBTI) at 1725 Claiborne Avenue in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Sheryl Ostendorff has a Masters of Business Administration from Centenary College of Louisiana and a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Northwestern State University. She has been involved in research for the past 12 years and has extensive experience in project management and relationship building, as well as grant management. She has worked in the hospital setting, served as a Director of Nursing for a local retirement home, and most recently was Project Manager for Cerebral Palsy Outcome Studies at Shriners Hospital for Children-Shreveport.
Susanne Wastlund has a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from Northwestern State University and has extensive experience in customer service and website/database management. She was last employed as the Assistant Station Manager for KRRP Radio Station in Coushatta, Louisiana.
